GRTC delivers new e-paper signage at the Downtown Transfer Station. The signage, which improves the passenger experience by making it easier to find route and location-specific information, was a major component of the rider-oriented infrastructure GRTC aims to continue delivering throughout the network.
“The addition of Connectpoint’s digital signage to GRTC’s new Downtown Transfer Station is a crucial element in enhancing the customer experience. We are happy that the signage will not only increase the functionality of the Downtown Transfer Station but will also provide GRTC customers with real time information which will help them reach their destinations.”
The Downtown Transfer Station is Richmond’s first off-street home for transit. With new powered shelters, digital destination boards, and two island platforms, it has never been easier to get where you want to go. The signage will also include Connecpoint’s award-winning Falcon, an ADA Text to Speech device.
